This video shows Upper Elementary students reporting the weather in Spanish. They studied weather words with their Spanish teacher, Ms. Maria.
Blood cells
In class we are studying the circulatory system of humans. This photo shows what your body might be going through while fighting off germs. All of your blood cells work together to kill the germs. For example, Memory B cells remember the invader’s antigen and can quickly make antibodies if the germs returns.
Tree of life
Our 4th graders are working with the Tree of Life, which charts the connections of all forms of life. At the root are Archaea and Bacteria, both prokaryotic cells. Next comes eukaryotic cells that branches into fungus, animal, protists, and plants.
CPR demonstration, Part 1
Aaron demonstrates the first steps in helping someone who has stopped breathing.
Circulatory System
Fifth grade students are working on the circulatory system. We want to understand how our body works. The heart is one of the most important organs in the body. It pumps our blood, and helps oxygen get to each cell. Krista made a detailed illustration of the process and explains it in this video.
